!!!!!!!! miss you guys. Hope youre having fun!

so my birthday celebration is going to continue tonight.. Were going to Tortilla west for drinks until around 1:30 then were going to ride the critical thrash route for a little bit... Anybody is more than welcome to attend. Please bring your bikez

The Yellow Submarine Build

I've started this project months ago, but it was put on a 3 month hiatus because I hadn't found a frame. Then on one sunday afternoon while trolling craigslist, I found this old ladies Araya road bike for $25 dollars. Didnt do much research on the frame, but it has to be from the 70's, maybe early 80's. The build had begun.

The plan was to make it singlespeed with a coaster brake. It was going to be ALL black with baby blue accents, but I ended up falling in love with the yellow. I also didn't want to trash a couple of the badges. So I decided that since the rider of the bike is a beatles fan, this ride would become Yellow Submarine themed.

Going to let the pictures do most of the talking.

trash

after trash

just playing with colors

oh yeah, this was april 20th... the worst night of our lives, and this is josh feeling the aftermath

Josh let me do most of the work... he later found out that this decision was probably a mistake! I almost blew everyone's ear drums by exploding the intertube while inside the wheel and tire. Luckily it didnt bend the rim or ruin the tire.

this is my favorite part of the bike... it set it off so well i think

side note: there's decal lines on the top tube, i actually removed those. Just forgot to take a picture after i did. there's also a Yellow submarine spoke card i made for it. Here's the image i used for the spoke card.

And to top off the bike, a custom bike lock I made, with a removable fabric cover. If anybody wants one of these, get at me.

Neglect

From writing, and not so much from posting random pics. Here's another. I bought this for Pat and I for work time at the office. Suprisingly it gets really loud without sounding like shit. I could or could not be upping the punx in the reflection of that ipod.

Things have been changing every single day for me. This kinda life and constant changing of my mind is what I fear/hate the most, but right now it's actually really good and I'm loving it. I've been hanging out with some awesome and some not so awesome people. I've been driving a lot, and burning a hole through all of my music. Tons of tanks and jersey rocking. Work is going amazing. I'm pretty positive I'll be getting promoted within the next year. Not to sound cocky or anything, it's just my actions and hard work have been getting noticed more than ever. I'm going to be without surfing for about three months due to tattooing plans this month, but I'm going to take the band full steam ahead. I'm not going to seattle : / , but I am going to see my little cousin graduate in June. I hope the celtics win game 7. I got some awesome merch in the mail today. Lisa's birthday is tonight. I don't know what else to say to you readers. Just wanted you all to know I'm doing good, and I'm pretty happy with life right now.
