Silly dreams and aspirations

I feel like I've talked about this before on here, but Josh at work is getting me more and more amped on it...

I've been cooking a lot lately, and its been making me happy, like extremely happy. So much, that I've been considering again going to culinary school. I know I'd be super happy cooking, but knowing what my mom's been through, I know the culinary business is rough.

I've always wanted to open up a football pub. I'd take my mom in as head chef, and partner up with her and matteo. Josh wants in too! We'd obviously serve delicious beers from around the world... But we'd specialize in good English pub food and other quick and easy dishes from around europe. Food that will be good with a nice brew and whatever footy match is on the tele.



The main idea for the pub would obviously be football, so we'd have 6 or so TVs playing matches from all over throughout the day. Here's the second part about my pub plans... I also want to sell soccer memorabilia. We'd carry tees, jersey kits, hats, scarves, etc... This way, customers could come in to watch their favorite clubs play, get full off good food and beer, and spend more money on their clubs kit to support during the match! It's pretty genius, I know.



I'd love to open it right where University pizza is on colley ave. I can't wait for that fucking place to go out of business. It'd be prime! Right next to ODU, and all the foreign kids could come and support their club and eat my food! It'd be awesome.
