discouraged and defeated

Yesterday started off so right.

-woke up on time
-got ready for work
-roommate made me a Japanese flag (egg in a basket) with a side of veggie bacon
-headed to work to start my day

This is when things started to go down south.

Fail#1

I have my car inspection scheduled to be done today. Took me three weeks to schedule because Toyota couldn't return my calls all month. Now my inspection sticker is expired. Anyways, On my way to work yesterday while driving through what seemed to be a 7-11 slurpee, my windshield just started cracking out of nowhere. It just kept spreading.

Now I have to replace the windshield before I can get an inspection, or it will just be rejected FUCK!

Fail #2

District manager thinks its a great idea to have a conversation with me from what he thinks going on from viewing me for 2 minutes... Not going to go into all of the bullshit and just say the end result. I decided that I'd rather not deal with this crap anymore and I asked to step down from a manager back to a sales rep. They want to keep me and do that, so thats whats going to happen.... I gave my demands and requests, just waiting to hear where I'll end up. I could care less what anyone else might think of me for stepping down, but I'm pretty crushed with myself. I feel like I took on something and I couldn't succeed at it and failed. Its even harder thinking this way, when i know I gave 110% to my job, and it was never noticed. I'm just going to try and accept it as, "hey, I tried it... and it isn't the right thing for me, or at least for right now."

Huge blow on my morale

THIRD STRIKE! Fail #3

Feeling really defeated, I had something I've been looking forward to for awhile that would help with my crappy day... What better than a home Admirals game? FUCK YEAH! We get there and the ticket booths are shut down, but they're taking donations at the door. I didn't have enough cash for the asked "donation," so they let Princess and myself in for $2 bucks. Hell yeah! Admirals game for $2!!!???? So we walk into the arena, its darkm and theres a whole bunch of lights in the stands from fans or something. I immediately stepped back and was like I'll go grab a beer while they're doing this pep-rally pump up thing or whatever it was. I get to the concession and I noticed the draft handles are gone. The lady tells me, "It's Christian night, no beer is being served." I'm REALLY disappointed at this point that I couldn't enjoy a beer, even more so because its "Christian Night." So as we're getting ready to leave the concession the lady says, "enjoy the concert." I'm so confused at this point. Long ass story for a short end, it was some kind of WOW Worship Praise fest instead of a hockey game. I was positive it was a home game last night because my Admirals schedule said so, but apparently it was an away game. FML! We walk into the arena just to see, and as soon as the band started playing, people immediately rose from their seats, raising their hands to the sun, and started getting their praise on. HUUUUGE balloons like gigantic beach balls were being bounced around the crowd. All of this was seriously happening all within a minute of the show starting. I'm positive my friend Caitlin's mom was there. haha. Exited the arena asap.

If there is a God, he seriously fucking hates me. He's got a great sense of humor for the way i got duped, i lol'd, but he definitely hates me.

but for real, FUCK THAT DAY! Im just going to do me for now on. Now that I can have less responsibility, I'm going to do what I love-d most about my job, and that's helping customers. It's clearly what got me where I was, took me to Hawaii, won me endless awards, endless connections now, and most importantly gave me the friendships and relationships I've made along the way with my customers. Back to loving my job.

anyways, I just wanted to share this. I stole it from the Church of Choppers blog. This bike to me is seriously perfection. I love it.

hopefully I get done what I need to be done today. Hopefully today and tonight rules, and hopefully I'm not completely in over my head. I would be kinda bummed.

anyways.... Shred til' You're dead,

Fuck Yes!!!!!

That was fast

Fuck No!

The day before my scheduled car inspection?????? Really????

Monday, March 1, 2010

I originally logged in to write up this big rant about how bummed I am about events that happened with work today, and how I'm stuck in such a fucking stupid situation. I was going to go on about how shit is so unfair at my store, and how people can't really open their eyes and notice what I really do, and only find the things I've messed up on. Some things that were brought up are incorrect from what's really going on and farther from the truth than the distance between Pluto and MyAnus. I was going to write ALL about it, but I came home and something more important came up, and my attention was interested more in that situation... So i'll just say this, for the first time in 4 wonderful years with T-Mobile, I'm unhappy. I feel I'm being microscoped without the scientist actually looking into the scope. I'm considering stepping down or quitting unless I can be transferred. That's of course if I'm not fired for some made up reason bc I couldn't fit in with the clique.

I was going to write all about it, until the 'something more important' mentioned above came into my attention. Bummed, pissed off, annoyed, and scared I decided I'd throw in a record I picked up yesterday during my vinyl splurge at Deep Groove Vinyl in Richmond. It's Johnny Cash's "Rockabilly Blues." I've always enjoyed the common Johnny Cash songs you hear here and there, but I've never owned or have given Cash the chance to be in my own collection/files of music. But fuck dude!!!!! The man is good! HE'S GREAT!

There's two songs in particular I can't stop starting the record over for.

"Without Love" and "The cowboy Who Started The fight"

(It's funny how the two songs I wanted to post were in one video together on youtube, considering I couldn't find the second song separately.)

I guess all this really stems down to is that I hate my job currently, and that it doesn't matter. There are things going on in my life right now that are better than that. These two songs are better than that. Bullshit doesn't concern me, and I'd rather be thinking about and doing radder things. SO FUCK THAT AND SUCK IT!

PS. This is what I had for dinner tonight...
